Hello Member of the UAHS Class of 1974

We hope this email finds you healthy and content in 2024.  The 50th reunion of the UAHS Class of 1974 will be held, as per UA tradition, over the 4th of July weekend.  That is less than 4 months away, it will be here before you know it!

Here is the Class of 1974 reunion event schedule:

• Thursday July 4th – Ride, walk alongside, or otherwise convey yourself alongside our class float in the parade.  Our float theme is UA 5-0.  Think Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and Tom Selleck mustaches. 

• Friday, July 5th – Golf Outing at Raymond Memorial Golf Course.  Minimal skill required!  Time and location TBD.

• Friday, July 5th – The big 50th reunion party.  7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Raymond Memorial Golf Course, 3860 Trabue Road.  Food, music, cash bar, and hundreds of old friends.  Spouses/significant others are welcome to attend.

• Saturday July 6th – One more story to tell?  Someone you did not get a chance to show your new tattoo?  There will be an informal, end of weekend reunion informal afterglow / meet-up.  Time and location TBD. 

In addition, there are the typical UA/ Columbus community activities to celebrate the 4th: 

·       Red, White & Boom:  Wednesday evening July 3rd - the biggest fireworks show in the Midwest! 

·       Party in the Park – Evening of July 4th – music and fireworks at Northam Park

·       Jones Middle School Open House.  Friday July 5th, 9:00 – 11:00 am.  See how this 100+ year old edifice has stood the test of time.  Hasting grads are welcome to attend!

·       UA High School Open House – Friday July 5th, 12:30 – 3:00 pm. – See the new high school firsthand.  UAAA Alumni Awards will be presented in the auditorium at 2:00 pm.
