History of the
Upper Arlington Alumni Association
The Franklin County Board of Education recognizes Upper Arlington as a new school district.
Superintendent Homer Mincy, along with a group of community leaders, establish the Upper Arlington Education Foundation (UA+Ed) to provide private funding to support programs, materials, and opportunities that enrich students’ environment and educational experiences, the expenses of which exceed the budget of the Upper Arlington City School District.
The Upper Arlington Alumni Association (UAAA) is formed by the Trustees of the Upper Arlington Education Foundation.
TODAY, the UAAA remains a strong organization that remains supportive of our school district, wears black and gold with pride, connects alums all over the globe and builds on our past to enhance current students' TOMORROW.
