This year, the UAAA expanded the second year of the Student Ambassador Program by adding a mix of seven junior and senior UAHS students. The group will work with the UAAA Board on initiatives to connect and engage current alums and future alums. As students complete their high school experience, they will know that this is truly their alumni association.

Question: If you could design a class to be taught at UAHS, what would it be?

Elizabeth Goth
Junior
I would want to design a class that is about recycling old clothes to make them new. I love doing hands on projects!

Natalie Harrison
Senior
A mental health class. That helps students learn how to love and appreciate themselves and to not feel too stressed about school.
I would also create a “real world skills” class that goes over basic real world skills that typically aren’t taught in school systems. For example: taxes, job interviews, communication skills.

Caroline Langmeyer
Junior
I would be really interested in taking a class about companies over the years. We see big companies every day all around us, but never really learn about how they came to be, what worked and what didn’t, and how and what they did to succeed. I also think it would be cool to learn about companies that are rising in our world today.

Krish Mawalkar
Junior
I would design a class focused on debate and public policy analysis. Critical thinking and logical analysis would be the core focus.
